Survey Will Help Steer Future Of Oneida County Fair

Oneida Co. Fair

While fair season is months away, the Oneida County Fair organizers are hoping the public provides them with feedback via an online survey.

Fair Director Thomas Barnett explains...

"We are planning for the future of the fair. To get a better grip on what our patrons would like to see and where we stand in the community as far as opinions about the fair and what we can improve on, what we're good at, that's why we're putting out this survey. We're really interested in what the community has to say. I think it would help our planning for future needs for our fair..."

The survey questions ask about attractions, entertainment, location, the 4-H area.

Barnett says the survey asks you to put items in order of importance...

"...The survey is going to address areas where we want input from the community about where we should go with the future of the fair. If there's something we can address immediately we will do that for this year's fair. we did a lot of that last year. I took a lot of comments from the community and where I was able to bring stuff they were asking for, I did...."

Barnett says the board is working to move the fair forward and upward. The survey can be linked through the Oneida County Fair website or Facebook pages. We have a link here.

The fair this year is August 1-4 at Pioneer Park in Rhinelander.
