WXPR Natalie Jablonski

The Campanile Center for the Arts in Minocqua is looking for a new Executive Director.

Campanile Board Chair and President Laurie Oungst announced Friday Sandy Madden is leaving the Center to lead the Duluth Symphony Orchestra.

Madden has been with Campanile since April 2017. Madden began her professional career as an arts manager when she founded the Central Wisconsin Big Band.

For the next 30 years she worked in various executive capacities for the Denver Chamber Orchestra, the Rockford, Madison and Denver Symphony Orchestras, and the Colorado Ballet. In 2003, Sandy accepted a position as VP/General Manager of the newly constructed Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton.

Oungst thanked Madden for helping the Center in many ways. Madden will leave Campanile on May 16.
