Late Friday Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce officials named a Harshaw resident as its new Executive Director.
Dana DeMet, comes to the chamber after he served two years as administrator and later business manager at Palantir.net, a Chicago-based web development firm.
DeMet succeeds Lara Reed who left the chamber to work for Ministry Health Care.
The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce has more than 350 members. They have several events throughout the year, including the upcoming Hodag Home Show as well as Art on the Courthouse Lawn, Hodag Hops & Vines, the Rhinelander Toyota Hodag Musky Challenge and more.
