Eagle River's longtime Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Connie Heeg has resigned.
In a letter to chamber members, Heeg says he's stepping down due to health concerns.
Heeg has worked for the chamber more than 13 years.
Among the accomplishments he cited was a doubling of the number of business memberships, paying off the chamber building in just over 6 years, bringing the Pond Hockey Championships to the area and others.
