A poll worker hands a ballot to a voter during the November 2020 election.

Wisconsin’s spring primary is a week away.

Several counties in the Northwoods have primary races to narrow the field of candidates running for county and school boards.

For school boards, there’s primaries for the Tomahawk, Elcho, Phillips, and Butternut School Districts.

Everyone who lives in the Northland Pines School District will be asked whether to pass an operational referendum.

The Town of St. Germain has a primary for Town Board Supervisor Number 2.

County Board District 12 in Lincoln County and District 3 and 6 in Oneida County will hold races to narrow down candidates.

All of Rhinelander will narrow the field for mayor.

There are no primary races in Iron or Forest Counties.

You can learn what will be on your ballot by visiting My Vote Wisconsin.

That’s also where you’ll find polling location and voter registration information.

The League of Women Voters has similar information on its VOTE411 website. It also includes self-submitted information about candidates.

The primary is February 15th.

The Spring Election is April 5th.
