The name of the person killed in an early Sunday snowmobile crash in Oneida county has been released.
The Sheriff's Department identified the victim as 37 year old Richard John Krook of Pelican Lake.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Department reports they were called shortly after 1:00 a.m. to Old 26 road in the town of Schoepke. Deputies found the snowmobile had left the trail and hit some trees on the side of the trail. The driver died at the scene.
Several agencies responded to the crash including the DNR and Wisconsin State Patrol.
