The Hurley school district is closing for several weeks because of the coronavirus.

Superintendent Kevin Genisot announced the schools will be closed from Monday, March 16 through Monday, April 13.

Genisot said all activities will be canceled. He says there will be no practices or general school use of the facility in any capacity.

Genisot says the final decision on school board meetings has not been decided.

Genisot says more updates on the status of the closing of the Hurley schools until April 13 will be coming.
