The Antigo Police Department is investigating a death, and searching for a person of interest.
Police say they found a person dead from apparent stab wounds Monday morning, while performing a welfare check at a house.
Police believe it's a homicide.
They’ve identified 38-year-old Derek Goplin as a person of interest, and are trying to locate his vehicle.
It’s a red 2016 Ford Explorer with a custom license plate that reads: RANDYR.

Goplin is 5'11", weighs about 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing jeans, black shoes, a dark green camouflage coat, a red hooded sweatshirt and a green or brown beanie hat.
Goplin was last seen in the Waukesha area.
Police say he may have a knife and is known to carry a gun.
They urge the public to use caution if you see him and to call 911 immediately.
