One person is injured after a house explosion in Langlade County.

The Langlade County Sheriff's Office tells News 9 that emergency crews were called to the house on Kennedy Lane shortly after 11 a.m.
They were on scene close to two hours.
The exact cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but it's believed to have started in the basement area of the home.
The 67-year-old man who was injured was transported to Langlade Aspirus Hospital before being airlifted to UW-Madison Hospital Burn and Wound Center.
The State of Wisconsin Fire Marshall will be assisting Elcho Fire with this ongoing investigation.
At this time foul play is not suspected, according to the sherriff’s office.
