The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office said it’s arrested three people in connection to an armed robbery last week.
Police arrested Mile Krohn, 27, Devon Brown, 24, and Autumn Williams, 24.
According the Sheriff’s Office, a 79-year-old man was returning to his home in Phelps after being at nearby casino.
There were two people in his driveway wearing masks. They demanded money and hit him in the face with a hammer. Then they took the money and ran.
The Sheriff’s Office said it coordinated with multiple agencies to quickly identify and arrest the two people within 48 hours.
During the investigation, a third suspect was identified.
Krohn, Brown, and Williams are all facing armed robbery and various drug-related charges. Krohn and Brown both have additional charges of battery.
