Two Central Wisconsin businesses got a little bigger on Wednesday. Within hours of each other People's State Bank and Greenheck Fan Corporation announced they would be buying some of their competitors.
People's purchased Waukesha-Based Sunset Bank and Savings, giving the Wausau-based bank a bigger foothold in the Milwaukee area.
If approved that deal would give People's ten locations and over a billion dollars in assets.
Greenheck announced the purchase of Florida-Based Metal Industries, which specializes in manufacturing HVAC equipment like grilles and registers.
That deal expands Greenheck's footprint into Florida, north Carolina, and Mexico.
Terms of the deals have not been disclosed.
The People's State Bank deal does require regulatory approval.
