A fire early Monday morning destroyed an apartment building and retail office space in Park Falls.
Police were able to evacuate all of the tenants inside the building.
Park Falls Fire and Rescue worked on the fire for nearly an 11 hours.
Parts of the building collapsed, so investigators aren’t able to determine the cause of the fire.
They don’t believe it was set intentionally, but they’re asking anyone who may have seen something to contact the Park Falls Police Department at 715-762-2446.
Five people lost their homes in the fire.
All are safe, but two people lost pets.
They’ve all been connected with the Red Cross.
