The Vilas County Sheriff's Office is asking for people to stay away from the scene of an early morning fire so emergency crews can do their work.
They say the dispatch center received a call around 4:30 a.m. this morning about a structure fire on Birchwood Drive in Saint Germain.
When emergency crews arrived, they found the building fully engulfed in flames.
Multiple fire department responded to the scene and were able to stop the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
Although the cause of the fire is under investigation, the sheriff's office believes it to be the result of a lightning strike.
The office says they are no reported injuries and no one was in the building when the fire started.
