The Chief Executive Officer of North Central Health Care has been placed on paid leave.
A statement from NCHC says the action was the result of an investigation into "compensation and benefits" for employees.
No further information has been announced, but the North Central Community Services Program board will see full results of that investigation sometime in the near future.
Chief Financial Officer Jill Meschke has been given the title of Interim CEO for now.
Von Brisen and Roper out of Milwaukee conducted the investigation into the complaint.
That’s the same group who conducted the investigation into complaints against former Marathon County Public Library Director Ralph Illick.
