Wisconsin Increasing COVID-19 Testing Capabilities Throughout the State

Wisconsin National Guard

Local County Health Departments are coordinating with the Wisconsin National Guard to increase COVID-19 testing throughout our region and the state.

There's now 71 new free community testing sites that will now be available in 56 counties and 7 tribal nations. The Department of Health Services says these sites have the capacity to test approximately 48,000 people each week.

Several counties are now offering weekly coronavirus testing sites. The testing is meant for people who are symptomatic or close contacts of people who have tested positive. 

Oneida County

  • Location: Grace Foursquare Church, 4360 State Rd 17, Rhinelander, WI. In the rear building. 
  • Every Tuesday through December 8, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
  • Every Thursday through December 10, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
  • Appointments required, sign up online

Lincoln County

  • Location: Merrill Festival Grounds, 2001 E 2nd Street
  • Every Wednesday through December 9, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Closed on Veterans Day)
  • No appointments necessary, pre-registration requested with 24 hours of testing. Register online

Marathon County

  • Location: Marathon County Emergency Management Office, 1308 West Street, Wausau
  • Every Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
  • No appointments necessary, pre-registration requested with 24 hours of testing. Register online

Langlade County

  • Location: Langlade County Health Service Center, 1225 Langlade Rd, Antigo.
  • Fridays: October 23, November 6, November 20, & December 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • No appointments necessary, pre-registration requested with 24 hours of testing. Register online

Forest County

  • Location: Forest County Highway Department, 5350 County Hwy W. Crandon.
  • Fridays: October 30, November 13, and December 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • No appointments necessary, pre-registration requested with 24 hours of testing. Register online

Iron County

  • Location: Hurley Fire Hall, 405 5th Avenue N. Hurley
  • Tuesday: November 10 and December 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • No appointments necessary, pre-registration requested with 24 hours of testing. Register online
