Meredith Rizzo is a visuals editor and art director on NPR's Science desk. She produces multimedia stories that illuminate science topics through visual reporting, animation, illustration, photography and video. In her time on the Science desk, she's reported from Hong Kong during the early days of the pandemic, photographed the experiences of the first patient to receive an experimental CRISPR treatment for sickle cell disease and covered post-wildfire issues from Australia to California. In 2021, she worked with a team on NPR's Joy Generator, a randomized ideas machine for ways to tap into positive emotions following a year of life in the pandemic. In 2019, she photographed, reported and produced another interactive visual guide exploring how the shape and size of many common grocery store plastics affect their recyclability.

Jeevika Verma joined NPR's Morning Edition and Up First as a producer in February 2020. During her time there, she's produced a variety of stories ranging from Afghanistan peace talks, COVID surges in India and local & state elections. Verma also contributes to arts and poetry coverage for NPR's culture desk, and is always trying to get more poets on air. She leads the Morning Edition diversity council and works on DEI efforts across the network to help NPR live up to its mission.

Rae Ellen Bichell is a reporter for NPR's Science Desk. She first came to NPR in 2013 as a Kroc fellow and has since reported Web and radio stories on biomedical research, global health, and basic science. She won a 2016 Michael E. DeBakey Journalism Award from the Foundation for Biomedical Research. After graduating from Yale University, she spent two years in Helsinki, Finland, as a freelance reporter and Fulbright grantee.

Danielle Kaeding is a reporter covering the environment, energy and northern Wisconsin for the Superior Bureau of Wisconsin Public Radio.Prior to that, Kaeding served as the station manager of WRNC-LPFM (97.7) at Northland College in Ashland. Kaeding studied mass communications at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.Most recently, she garnered two regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for investigative and feature reporting from the Radio Television Digital News Association. Kaeding has also received awards from the Milwaukee Press Club and Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association.She has written and reported stories for National Public Radio, National Native News, Aspen Daily News, Business North, Ashland Daily Press, Superior Telegram and KQDS-TV.
