A pedestrian died after being hit by a City of Bayfield Police Department squad car.
The Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office says it happened Wednesday night at 10:21 p.m. on State Highway 14 at West Bresette Hill Road.
Sheriff’s Deputies found a male pedestrian dead when they arrived.
The Ashland County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol will handle the investigation.
