Popular Harvest Hoedown Saturday, Benefits Nath, RAFP

 
 
   Saturday is a major fundraiser for two well-known non-profits from Rhinelander.
 
The 4th annual Harvest Hoedown is set for the Woodpecker Bar & Grill on Highway "K" west of Rhinelander. CoVantage Credit Union is presenting the event.
 
Proceeds benefit the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry and the Northwoods Alliance For Temporary Housing which run Frederick Place Homeless Shelter.
 
The food pantry's Guy Hansen  talks about the family event...
 
 
"It's free admission, there's live music,  there's all kinds of games that people can participate for free, so it makes a nice family event. We also have a lot of food out there and horse-drawn wagon rides out to the pumpkin patch...we hope people come and spend money on the raffle tickets and we have a huge bake sale, we have country store with all kinds of items, raffles going on hourly...."
 
Hansen says the funds raised here,  stay here...
 
"The Food Pantry gets half and NATH gets half so it all stays immediately in the community...."
