A woman convicted of killing her husband in Marathon County is asking for a new attorney.
Cindy Schulz Juedes and attorney Earl Gray have agreed that the 66 year old needs new representation as she faces a mandatory life sentence for killing Ken Juedes more than ten years ago.
The request was made in Marathon County court Thursday with no objection, and a judge set a February 9th status conference ahead of the March 18th sentencing date.
Last fall a jury found her guilty of shooting Ken to get at millions in assets and insurance money.
Cindy Schulz Juedes was long considered a suspect in the crime but wasn't charged until December 2019.
It's unclear why she's asking for new representation at this time.
