Gov. Evers Appoints Martha Milanowski As Vilas County Circuit Court Judge

Office of the Governor/State of Wisconsin

Gov. Tony Evers appointed Martha Milanowski to the Vilas County Circuit Court today.

She will serve until July 31, 2022.

Her appointment fills the vacancy left by Judge Neal Nielson III, who retired earlier this year.

“The people of Vilas County and Wisconsin deserve judges who apply the law fairly and equally, and Martha Milanowski will do just that,” Gov. Evers said. “Her experience and strong roots in the community will make her an excellent judge for the people of Vilas County.”

Milanowski is currently the Vilas County District Attorney.

Her appointment means Gov. Evers is now looking for applicants to fill that position.
