Monday was the deadline for Aspirus employees to receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine or get an approved exemption.
Officials with Aspirus said that those who did not meet the deadline voluntarily resigned.
However, they claim the resignations only make up a small portion of their staff.
In a statement, Aspirus said it supports widespread COVID vaccination because it is the best way to protect patients, families, staff and community members from the virus.
Marshfield Clinic's vaccine deadline was November 15.
