Christopher Terrell Anderson, the man alleged to have killed Hannah Miller of Rhinelander in June, is in Oneida County custody. He is scheduled to make his initial appearance at 1:15 p.m. today in Branch II of Oneida County Circuit Court.

Anderson, 30, was arrested Sept. 7, in Illinois. He was extradited and booked into the Oneida County Jail Oct. 26, on a charge of first degree intentional homicide. Oneida County Sheriff Grady Hartman said last month Anderson was arrested in Carol Stream, Ill. based on information received from a confidential informant.

Miller, 26, was found dead of a gunshot wound on River Bend Road in the town of Pelican, near U.S. 8 East June 30. Law enforcement had been searching for Anderson, 30, since then. Miller and Anderson were in a relationship and had a child together.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigations arrested Seth A. Wakefield, 24, of Rhinelander in July. Wakefield is charged with being party to the crime of first degree intentional homicide and conspiracy to commit first degree intentional homicide. He is in jail on a $252,000 cash bond and is awaiting a competency hearing currently scheduled for Dec. 2.
