Gina Marie Brunner, 45, died in the crash

The Marathon County Medical Examiner’s office has notified the Sheriff’s Office that both died at the hospital as a result of injuries suffered in the crash

An investigation has been ongoing in the collision which happened in September of 2025

Saturday at 10:52 p.m., the Vilas County Sheriff's Office got word of a one vehicle crash on Highway 45 near Abalan Lane in the Town of Conover
