ABR Ski Trails in Ironwood took the number 3 spot.Minocqua Winter Park got the most votes and is number one on the list.

Two local cross-country ski areas are going head-to-head in a USA Today contest to find the top 10 cross-country ski areas in the country.

USA Today is asking people to help it find the best Cross-Country Ski Resorts in the country.Minocqua Winter Park and ABR Ski Trails in Ironwood have been holding the top two spots over the last several days.

They made just an inch of snow to make sure all the machines were ready

A small ski hill in Langlade County keeps it pretty simple.Started in 1956, The Kettlebowl is five rope tows on a ski hill and cross-country ski trails on county forest land that’s open on the weekends.It’s run by volunteers.
